    This invention relates to zinc-based alloys for use as a coating for steel products.
    The purpose of the invention is to improve the electrochemical characteristics of the coating, expressed in a decrease in the electric current in the galvanic couple.
    The chemical composition and properties of the investigated alloys are given in the table.
    The data obtained from measuring galvanic currents suggests that the content of alloying components in the proposed alloy provides a lower electric current in the galvanic couple.
